EveryClue: Mystery Sudoku Privacy Policy

This policy covers the EveryClue: Mystery Sudoku mobile apps for iOS and Android, published by SkyBringUp. For the EveryClue website, see the site privacy policy.

The app creates an anonymous synchronized account from a random installation identifier; it does not ask you to sign in. Settings, notes, intermediate board moves, and ordinary case progress stay on your device. When you claim a first-clear clue reward, the app sends the completed board placements and case number to validate that completion. The service stores the anonymous account identifier, full-unlock status, clue-point balance, state version, latest purchase-verification time, and the case numbers for which the one-time first-clear reward has already been claimed. Rewarded case numbers and clue-spend actions are recorded to maintain your balance and prevent duplicate rewards. Notes and completion times are not uploaded.

App Store and Google Play process mobile payments. EveryClue sends the store purchase identifier, product identifier, and the anonymous account binding to the relevant store verification service so it can grant the matching entitlement. EveryClue does not receive your card number or store billing address.

Settings contains two separate controls: “Clear local progress” removes case-solving data from that device, while “Delete synchronized account” sends an account-deletion request for the anonymous server account. A minimal purchase-claim record may be retained after deletion where needed to prevent the same store transaction from granting paid items repeatedly, and records may also be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or law.

Data is sent over HTTPS. We do not use these mobile records for advertising or sell them. Anonymous synchronized account data remains until an account-deletion request is processed; sending a request does not mean immediate erasure. Purchase-claim and revocation records remain for as long as they are needed to prevent reuse of a store transaction.
